A is due before production starts, whenever equipment switches product, and when production ends. Another batch of the same product usually doesn't need one.
The operator sees what was on the kettle and what is going on next, before washing starts.
The second product goes straight into the kettle because the clean was 'done this morning'.
Base the trigger on the risk: product, , or raw to cooked. Written procedures say what is cleaned, who does it, how, how often, and how it is checked.
